Inkso began with a small, familiar frustration: the everyday tools we rely on have quietly become overcomplicated — and overpriced.

Somewhere along the way, ordinary software got complicated. The tools we use for the simplest tasks now arrive stuffed with features — dashboards, integrations, accounts, endless settings — and most of us only ever touch a small handful of them. Yet we pay for all of it, month after month, for things we'll never open.

We think that's backwards.

At Inkso, we believe the basics should stay simple, fast, and free. You shouldn't need a subscription and an all-in-one suite just to edit a PDF or sign a form. Most of the time you have one small thing to do — so you should be able to do it and get on with your day. Affordable, focused, online tools ought to cover those everyday needs, without the bloat, the sign-ups, or the bill at the end.

That's our whole philosophy: do the basics well, keep them simple, and keep them within everyone's reach.
